TDP sore over Chautala’s remark

HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam Party is irked by the statement of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) president Om Prakash Chautala that the United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA) is distancing itself from the Samajwadi Party. The party leaders feel that Samajwadi Party, with its own compulsions, would have formally left the UNPA in a couple of days, once the Left withdraws support to the Manmohan Singh government. “Mr. Chautala should have waited a couple of days and let the SP leadership formally announce its intentions,” a senior leader aired his view.
