With the Department of Public Works being detailed by the Governor to work with GPSS to fix the ailing public schools, Guam Federation of Teachers President Matt Rector says it's about time. However, he notes that without an increase in funding, more problems will likely be seen. "It really doesn't matter if the Governor's in control or the school board or the Legislature is in control. We under fund our school system by a third. If we don't start investing the money into our children's education then it doesn't matter who is in control.
