Qatar: High demand for high-end offices

DOHA - The non-availability of high-end office space will ease in the period between this year and 2010, according to the International Bank of Qatar's (IBQ) 'Qatar Economic & Financial Review'. With Qatar's economy in overdrive mode, many international companies are flocking here to open their offices. However, finding appropriate office space to start business operations is proving to be difficult for many. The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Tower, for example, is chockfull and with more licencees set to come in, the hunt for space is on. Vodafone is believed to be on the lookout for premises after having officially received its license to be the second mobile operator in the country.
