The moody Scot added a 67 to his opening 70 in the European Open and said: "I don't often chase men in pink but I did this time." Colourful Ian Poulter was Monty's playing partner and he too moved to seven under. But the defending champion's dark side still showed at the London Club's 13th hole after he hit into the water. He was distracted as he prepared his next shot, turned to a TV buggy driver and said: "You are only here because of me." Later Monty said: "He was on my line and didn't want to move.
