Local Fireworks Stand Uses Freenet To Do More Business LAWRENCE - The Bartz Brothers fireworks stand at 31st and Kasold has long been a Lawrence tradition. The stand sells all of the community’s favorite Black Cat fireworks, from strings of 5,000 firecrackers to artillery shells to fountains, the Bartz Brothers do it all. Set up as a temporary store front each year, the Bartz family has to bring all of the comforts of home. Power is provided by on site generators, shelter by a flame retardant tent and Internet is provided by Lawrence Freenet. Weather is always a challenge for temporary fireworks operations.
