Tom Pernice fired a seven-under 63 Friday to join Jeff Overton in the lead after two rounds of the AT&T National. Overton carded a five-under 65 and shares the top spot with Pernice at nine- under-par 131. Cliff Kresge posted a 65 of his own to climb from a share of 23rd into a tie for third at minus-six. He was joined there by Wachovia Championship winner Anthony Kim (67). First-round leader Steve Marino managed an even-par 70 on Friday and is one of seven players tied for fifth at five-under-par 135. "Obviously I would have liked to have played a little bit better today, but even-par out here is not awful," admitted Marino.
