Special revision of rolls in Karaikal district by July 10

Special Correspondent KARAIKAL: The Election Commission of India has ordered special revision of electoral rolls on account of delimitation of Assembly constituencies in Karaikal district in the Union Territory of Puducherry enabling fresh inclusion of voters who attained 18 years of age on January 1 this year. Inclusion and deletion of voters have to be done before July 10. Final list of voters will be published on August 29. Collector-cum-District Election Officer, Karaikal, N. Vasanthakumar said on Wednesday that following special revision of electoral rolls, there would be changes in the Assembly constituencies and polling stations.
