SongLive X1, retailing for about $145 By: Florin Troaca, Communications News Editor For those who have been impatiently awaiting the first clone of Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 to appear, that moment has come. Like Chuck Norris, the flourishing Chinese copycatting industry does not sleep and it has delivered a new masterpiece called SongLive X1. Unlike other clones, which reproduce even the tiniest details of the original handsets they want to be like, SongLive X1 is not a full copy of the Sony Ericsson flagship handset. Still, the resemblance is striking, both when you look at the new handset's front case and at its back one. While the real X1 is a Windows Mobile smartphone, the SongLive X1 is a mobile TV handset that doesn't seem to have an Operating System (or at least none that I know of).
