If you were there at fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani's last fashion show in New Delhi a couple of months ago, you may have noticed, no, not just the ensembles, but a rather unusual aspect to the ramp: Metal "sculptures", taking inspiration from the minarets of the Taj or of the mosques but also from the shikhar architecture of temples — sitting prettily and easily on Mughal "hookah" bases!
