KANPUR, India: With Samajwadi Party making it clear that it would favour the Indo-US nuclear deal, the BJP accused its president Mulayam Singh Yadav of doing the politics of opportunism. Addressing the media here, senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi said that while his party is against the current form of the nuclear deal, Mulayam's party is now in favour of the deal just to keep the BJP out of power. "The SP was against the N-deal till recently, but suddenly it decided to back the Centre as the party fears that the BJP may come to power if the UPA government falls," Joshi said.
