WARSAW, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Polish President Lech Kaczynski has told French President Nicolas Sarkozy that Poland will not block ratification of a European Union reform treaty, local media said on Friday. "The Polish president affirmed that Poland would not be an obstacle to the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty," Polish news agency PAP reported following a telephone conversation between the two leaders. Director of the foreign affairs bureau at the Polish Presidential Chancellery Mariusz Handzlik told PAP the French president called on his Polish counterpart and it was "a long conversation held in a very good climate." According to Handzlik the talk centered on the Lisbon Treaty ratification in EU countries and possibilities of its ratification by Ireland.
