New Sderot playground to have 'playful' bomb shelter

A new Sderot playground will include a 'playful' bomb shelter to which children can run when Kassam rocket barrages hit. The bomb shelter will be colorful and shaped like a centipede. Let's go to the videotape and then I'll have a bit more for you. Obviously, it's terrible that kids need a bomb shelter in the middle of a playground. But that's the least of the grim tidings coming out of Sderot. According to the most recent Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) report, there are 3,578 students in the western Negev city of Sderot.
