Presidents Al-Bashir and Sassou-Nguesso Affirm their Keenness to Boost Regional Security and Peace

Khartoum, July 3 (SUNA)- President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir and the President of the Republic of Congo, Denis Sassou-Nguesso, have affirmed their keenness to boost the regional security and peace, and importance of continuous consultations between the two countries concerning the regional and international issues of mutual concern. At the concluding sitting of the talks between the Sudanese and Congolese sides Thursday at the Republican Palace, they issued a final communiqué which affirmed the serious desire of Sudan and the Republic of Congo to reactivate the mechanisms of cooperation between them and the exchange of visits between the Sudanese and Congolese officials at different fields, especially in the economic and trade domains.
