Taylor commits future to Magpies

Taylor has established himself as a key player for Newcastle Defender Steven Taylor has signed a new three-year deal with Newcastle. The 22-year-old had been in talks with the club for over a year and rejected a a five-year contract in 2007 because of a dispute over the terms of the offer. The centre-back graduated from Newcastle's Academy in 2002 and made his first-team debut in 2004 during a Uefa Cup tie against Real Mallorca.
