Three Toronto men dead after car plunges into Ontario lake

MINETT, Ont. — Three young Toronto men are dead after a car plunged into Lake Joseph in Ontario’s Muskoka cottage country late Thursday. The Ontario Provincial Police said the single vehicle accident happened on a bridge at about 7 p.m.The men have been identified as Tyler Mulcahy, 20, Cory Mintz, 20, and Kourosh Totonchian, 19. A fourth passenger in the vehicle, 19-year-old Nastasia Elzinga, was transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. She is expected to survive, OPPConst. Pamela Higham said Friday. The group were in the area visiting a cottage. It’s not clear whether alcohol was a factor in the collision.
