Under the radar, Brink finished his career with 58.4-percent completion rate, 10,913 yards and 76 touchdowns to 43 interceptions. He ended it with the third-most yards in Pac-10 history behind NFL starters Carson Palmer (USC) and Derek Anderson (OSU). But a 17-23 record as a starter and zero bowl appearances muffled the sound of his individual prowess. The Cougars finished the season 5-7 – which ended Bill Doba's four-year tenure on the Palouse – but Brink did become the only WSU quarterback to win four Apple Cups after leading his team to a come-from-behind victory in Seattle. 2008...
