Festival to show 220 films from around the world July 2nd, 2008 issue (Updated July 4, 2008) The 43rd annual film festival in Karlovy Vary opens today with a showing of Barry Levinson's film, "What Just Happened?" starring actor Robert de Niro, ČTK wrote on Friday. The festival will run through July 12, showing 220 films from all over the world, one fourth of which will be premieres.
