Tall man robs Wells Fargo branch in Reno

Staff Report • July 3, 2008 A man took cash from a Wells Fargo branch in Reno just before 10 a.m., Thursday. Reno police said no weapon was seen when the man demanded cash from a teller at 490 California Ave. at 9:53 a.m. and walked west. He was described as in his late 30s, about 6-foot-2, of medium build, clean-shaven with light brown and wore a tan sun hat with neck protector flaps, dark sunglasses, a short-sleeve button Hawaiian print shirt over a white T-shirt, faded blue jeans, dark shoes and a dark shoulder bag.
