Live forever like the Okinawans The July 7 issue of Woman’s World magazine features tips on longevity from Okinawa, home of some of the longest-lived people on the planet. The magazine advises drinking jasmine tea to help lower cholesterol and protect against cancer, eat more vegetables to keep weight low, chow down on soy to prevent heart disease and eat seafood to cut the risk of breast cancer. It also advises to eat only until you’re 80 percent full, try to relax to keep blood pressure low and visit with friends frequently for mental health.
