Fourth offers many escapes By BRAD DICKERSON Glasgow Daily Times GLASGOW — By the time most of you sit down to read this, the weekend will be upon us. Thanks to the Fourth of July falling on a Friday, a majority of businesses will cease operations tomorrow, thus allowing for that all-important three-day sabbatical from work (all restaurant servers, hostesses and drive-thru attendants have my deepest sympathies). Like we needed another reason to love the Fourth of July.
