A large board bearing the slogan "2.45% – it's a shame – fair pay for local government workers" was taken to the Westminster Parliament for MPs to sign. It will then be taken to the Tory-led Local Government Employers, together with other messages of support from the Glastonbury Festival – including those of veteran politician Tony Benn and musician Billy Bragg.
