NEW ORLEANS – First Bank and Trust said today that Bruce E. Unangst, a former president of St. Tammany Parish, has been hired as St. Tammany market-area president to lead the bank’s growing franchise in St. Tammany. Unangst directs consumer, small-business and commercial banking in St. Tammany, including the bank’s temporary Northpark branch at 118 Lake Drive in Covington. He also is overseeing the ongoing construction of the bank’s permanent Northpark office and is responsible for the bank’s growth strategy throughout the parish. “St. Tammany is one of the fastest-growing regions in Louisiana,” said President and CEO J.
