Chelsea - At least One Russian

"At least one Russian", that sentence is in fact the order reputedly made by our owner Roman Abramovich to our new manager Luis Filipe Scolari. Abramovich has apparently told 'Big Phil` that he expects there to be at least one Russian player in the Chelsea squad next season. This gives the big Brazilian only a choice of only four players that even stand a chance at Chelsea: Andrei Arshavin, Yuriy Zhirkov, Igor Akinfeev and Roman Pavlyuchenko. Very good players, but only Arshavin is good enough in my opinion. Igor Akinfeev is a good keeper but no way near to the standard of Petr Cech. And the other two wouldn`t get many starts. We have Shevchenko who is Ukrainian and Ivanovich who is Serbian, isn`t that good enough Mr Abramovich?
