Prince unlikely to return to NRL in 2008 (AAP)

The player named "The Heartbreak Kid" - Gold Coast playmaker Scott Prince - lived up to his moniker again after all but being ruled out for the rest of the season following arm surgery. X-rays showed he'd suffered a broken forearm in Queensland's Origin series winning 16-10 victory against NSW at Sydney on Wednesday night. Prince then underwent surgery at Brisbane's Mater private hospital, having a plate inserted into his arm. He is expected to be out for up to 12 weeks. There are just 10 regular season rounds left in the 2008 NRL season. It ensures Prince's return will depend on how far the Titans advance into the NRL finals.
