Man in court over bus killing

A man has appeared in court accused of murdering a 60-year-old ex-soldier on a bus. Gary Robson, 23, went before Peterlee Magistrates' Court in Co Durham charged over the death of Stan Dixon. He and his partner Anne Fisher, 41, were travelling home when they allegedly told off a fellow passenger for swearing. The situation escalated and both Ms Fisher and Mr Dixon were attacked.
