J/S Editorial Board gives kudos to County Supervisor Joe Rice

We at BadgerBlogger have respected Supervisor Joe Rice for quite some time now. And in an editorial published this morning regarding recent reforms to the county ethics code, the J/S Editorial Board agrees: “Milwaukee County supervisors have approved a badly needed reform of the county ethics code, and while it’s not as sweeping as it should be, it’s a dramatic improvement. Many of the changes are intended to wisely streamline the complaint system and encourage settlements as opposed to adversarial and expensive ethics prosecutions. Some supervisors feared they would have been unfairly subjected to spurious complaints during election campaigns.
