eBay fined $63 million for allowing users to sell fake merchandise on its site

Online auction company eBay has been ordered by a court in Paris to pay 40 million euros ($63 million) in damages to a leading luxury brand, Louis Vuitton (LVMH), for turning a blind eye to the selling of fake merchandise on its site. eBay has said it would appeal against the court ruling.
