Gillespie -- who has overcome drug addiction -- says the troubled Babyshambles rocker loves having his life played out in public and tries his hardest to manipulate the media. He explains, "I think Pete has learned to manipulate the mass media very well -- especially the tabloid newspapers. That's how he does his press, I suppose. I think Pete likes the attention."
