Montenegro and Slovenia signed on Wednesday an agreement on cooperation in science and technology at Montenegro's seaside resort of Budva. The agreement will boost the already successful cooperation between the countries by promoting joint research projects and more cooperation in EU projects, the Slovenian Education Ministry said in a statement. Slovenian Higher Education, Science and Technology Minister Mojca Kucler Dolinar signed the agreement with her Montenegrin counterpart Sreten Skuletic on the sidelines of a forum dubbed Science, Higher Education and Innovation. Kucler Dolinar said that in 2009 both ministries would publish calls for applications for bilateral research projects.
