LONDON: AC Milan are being priced out of a move for Emmanuel Adebayor (pic). The Arsenal striker is wanted by the Italian giants and Barcelona. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants £35mil for the 24-year-old Togo ace but Milan insist they cannot match that figure. Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani said: “Adebayor is overridden by continuous requests for £35mil. “These figures are impossible for clubs in Italy. “In fact, the top footballers in the world do not come here any more. “When big clubs like Barcelona and Chelsea arrive, it is impossible to compete because they have a much more advantageous fiscal situation.” Milan are also competing with Manchester City for Ronaldinho but despite the Blues’ spending power, they believe they can compete for the Brazilian.
