Piebalgs defends Nord Stream

From wire reports RIGA - EU Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs has expressed support for the construction of a Russian-German gas pipeline beneath the Baltic Sea, while adding that laying down an offshoot to Latvia would not make economic sense.
