Thursday, July 03, 2008 PESHAWAR: Governor NWFP Owais Ahmad Ghani said that the government was striving to keep the Federally Administered Tribal Areas peaceful through the process of negotiations with the respective tribes in order to isolate the troublesome elements. The governor was talking to a six-member US Congressional delegation, which called on him here on Wednesday. Members of the delegation include Gary Ackerman, Sheila Jackson-Lee, Thad McCotter, Randy Neugebauer, Russ Carnahan and Al Green. They remained with the governor for some time and discussed matters of common interest.
