Published Wed 02 Jul 2008, 1 View, 0 Comments Just announced a new Government review of the NHS, it consists of many commendable objectives. One in particular caught my eye " Patients have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, in a safe and clean environment" One has to ask as to whether the many bad practices are endemic within the NHS. Sadly the question is, will a strong desire to bring these changes about really exist amongst many of those who work in the NHS. The chances of success are very low. At this moment it is not even possible to persuade large numbers of doctors and nurses to was their hands. The dreadful practice of nurses and others of wearing their uniforms when going to and from work, is generally acceptable. I suppose we all live...
