Friends movie finally happening?

Is it true? Could it finally be happening? Could the most loved television series of all time finally be making it to the big screen? Well there have been rumours of a Friends film for a very long time, but with the success of a Sex and the City film there's added pressure to make it. Of course it's the usual source talking, and this one does reek of leaking some public comments to lever the stars into a position where the studio could gauge their interest and use public pressure to pull them towards a movie version, but is that me just being overly cynical about Hollywood?
