THEY ARE ALSO ONLY BASED ON FILMS I HAVE ACTUALLY SEEN. 10. RESIVOIR DOGS (1992) Tarantino's debut movie gave a pretty good idea of what we could expect from him throughout the rest of his career. The movie is about a group of people who get together to pull off a bank heist that goes terribly wrong, with a cast including Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Chris Penn, Steve Buscemi and Tarantino himself. Sounds like any other heist film with one BIG exception, you never actually see the heist occuring. Instead you see a jumble of events that occur both before and after the heist.
