The British designer paid tribute to vintage Dior at their autumn/ winter couture show this week Galliano,47, usually considered an industry rebel, was inspired by iconic Fifties Vogue model and Dior muse Lisa Fonssagrives - especially pictures of her taken by her husband Irving Penn. Similarities to Dior's debut "New Look"range from 1947 - which focussed on corsetry, hourglass shapes, full bosoms and wasp waists - were also spotted by fans.
