7 News Speaks One On One With Senator Obama

Posted Tuesday, July 1, 2008 ; 12:12 PM Updated Tuesday, July 1, 2008 ; 04:27 PM ZANESVILLE, OH -- U.S. Senator Barack Obama is back in Ohio today, this time making a stop close to the Ohio Valley. He visited the East Side Community Ministry in Zanesville which povides food, clothing and emergency relief for needy families. Obama volunteers held more than two hundred of these Unite For Change House Parties across Ohio on Saturday. The event is not open to the public and people feel that this is Obama's way of reaching out to more conservative voters. During a one on one interview . The Senator tells 7 News that residents must accept reality, that many of the lost steel jobs will not return.
