THE SNP have high hopes of inflicting a devastating defeat on Labour in the Glasgow East by-election. Strange, then, that they have had more to say about the Scottish Labour leadership contest than the make-or-break poll in the east end of Glasgow on July 24. The Nats are keen to exploit the leadership race - to portray Labour as divided and obsessed with discussing their own policy of independence. Labour must not play their game.
