One dream has been realised and another looms larger than the labours of Hercules. Long after his hero Nelson Mandela had left, Lewis Hamilton started British Grand Prix week sitting in an empty ball room at London's Dorchester hotel, staring at a table of discarded napkins and empty wine glasses, starstruck like one of his own fans.
