The victory pulls Caiman out of the relegation zone whereas Cotonsport conserves the leadership position despite the defeat. Runners-up Canon of Yaounde failed to take advantage of the defeat of Cotonsport to close the gap between them as they were held to a zero-all tie by Sable of Batie. The situation at the bottom of the table did not change as Tonnerre of Yaounde and Lion Ngoma were sent further down the drain as they were beaten by Mount Cameroon and Astres of Bepanda-Douala on an identical 2-1 score respectively.
