However, the Spanish did lose a key player in David Villa to injury. 2 Some have been involved in a major final like this before, even if they haven't actually won it. Metzelder, Frings, and Klose started against Brazil in 2002, while Ballack was in that squad but suspended. They also came through the pressurised experience of hosting the World Cup two years ago. 3 Germany will provide a much more significant set-piece threat than their opposition with Ballack and Schweinsteiger's prowess from the dead ball potentially crucial if this develops into a tight encounter like many finals unfortunately do....
