Lawyers try to block subpoenas for reporters tied to grand jury probe

By Martha Raffaele | Of The Associated Press A Dauphin County judge was asked Monday to quash subpoenas issued to some of the 15 journalists summoned to testify at a hearing on whether the secrecy of a grand jury investigation was compromised. Lawyers for The Associated Press and The Morning Call argued in a motion that those companies' news stories did not reveal any secrets of the investigation that led to perjury charges against casino owner Louis DeNaples on Jan. 30.
