The Obama campaign is trying hard to put criticism of First Lady wannabe Michelle Obama out of bounds, even as she continues to campaign, and to convince the American people that she's a proud American who would be a great First Lady, despite her own words. First, husband Barack warned against criticizing his wife. Then, Barack claimed not only that he would not attack Cindy McCain, but that he would defend her and he's disappointed that John McCain has not been defending Michelle. As though Michelle is John's wife instead of Barack's.
