Genealogy Query - FONTENOT : MALLETT

I am searching for any members of my original families (mother, father, siblings). As far as I can tell, I was born on July 2, 1960 in New Orleans or Marrero, Louisiana to a white woman from a northern city. My father was a tall Black man, possibly African. I was sent to a New Orleans area Catholic orphanage and most of this information was given to me by the nuns who took care of us. I was adopted at about 9 months of age by a beautiful Creole family and I was loved and well cared for. One of the nuns was related to the family who chose me and she made them aware of me. Not all of the children at the orphanage were so lucky and that carries an immeasurable sadness. I am a tall, heavy set man with hazel eyes.
