Another game, another lead lost. One of the best bits of the Colbert Report is the Dead To Me and On Notice lists. I haven’t started keeping a list like this, but if I were, Jimmy Gobble would be the first guy on it. In 33 plate appearances, left handed batters are hitting just .065/.121/.129 against Gobble. Yet, I somehow failed to find comfort in that fact as I watched the left handed hitting David Murphy crush a ball to right field for a grand slam in the seventh. Ballgame. After going through the comments on recent posts, several people are wondering about Trey HIllman and how he handles the bullpen. Does he have favorites? Does he play the platoon splits? Does he have clearly defined roles outside of Soria as the three inning a week closer? I wish I knew. Hillman opened the seventh by bringing in newcomer Jeff Fulchino....
