Namibe — A total of 3,380 plots of land for construction of houses were distributed to "5 de Abril" ward residents in south-western Namibe province, during a ceremony presided over by local governor, Boavida Neto. The distribution of the lots is part of the National Urbanisation and Housing Programme designed to provide sites for construction of economic houses. The "5 de Abril" urbanisation plan in its completion stage comprises 3,380 plots of land for construction of economic houses, covering an area of 6,164 hectares.
