I'm starting to fall in love with Tony Mowbray before he has even had one game in charge as Celtic manager - and it feels good! For far too long there has been concern about the club's balance between on-the-field and off-the-field activities. We live in a highly-commercialised world but Celtic are a football club first and a business second. Brands and global markets only mean something if things are going well on the pitch. On that note it was great to read Mowbray's comments about the pre-season fixtures - as it has been great to read all of his comments since his appointment as the man speaks logic and makes total sense. In short, Mowbray has admitted he wouldn't have taken on Celtic's trip to Australia if the choice was his.
