I got a new catalogue this week from the Duluth Trading Co. You may have seen a couple of ads for the company at The Bulletin Web site. They're the animated ones with a plumber breaking the plumber stereotype with one of the company's long-tailed T-shirts, and the other uses a giant angry beaver to demonstrate the toughness of their specially designed work pants. Now, I'm a catalogue fan. I like to thumb through them to see what kinds of cool stuff they've got in them, usually finding plenty of things I can live without. There are times when I do order from a catalogue, but mostly they're just wish books, like the old Sears & Roebuck catalogue. Cabela's catalogue has lots of interesting outdoors items and gear, U.S. Cavalry's catalogue is sort of an ultimate military surplus outlet. My mother-in-law gets lots of catalogues,...
