John Dillinger was a real piece of work. Convicted for robbing a grocery store when he was 22, he served eight and a half years of a twenty year sentence. He started to rob banks four months after being released, and he was gunned down by FBI agents in Chicago just ten months after robbing his first bank. His entire criminal career lasted less than a year, but he made a pretty big impression in that short span of time. The film Public Enemies (2009) is a story about control.
