PSV consider Vennegoor of Hesselink transfer

Published Date: 03 July 2009 PSV Eindhoven are set to discuss the possibility of signing Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink after the former Holland striker was released by Celtic this week. PSV have previously denied any interest in the 30-year-old, with technical director Adrie van Kraaij describing such speculation as "nonsense". But after being informed of Celtic's decision to let the player go, Van Kraaij admitted the prospect of a free transfer could yet entice the club to make a move.
